We understand that musical theatre can be an intimidating art form. That’s why we’ve created a one-of-a-kind student membership program to help students discover and ultimately master the performing skills and character qualities that are needed to navigate musical theatre.
Check out the Academy! This is a great option for busy families as students can attend unlimited drop in classes throughout the week in singing, acting, dance, audition prep, and more. The subscription based model makes the cost of our classes about 75% less than the classes at dance studios in our neighborhood.

We strive to make every student feel safe and loved while at Shine, no matter their skill level. By signing up for The Academy you agree to follow Shine’s policy regarding parent and student behavior.

Classes are held 12 months out of the year.

We are excited to share that beginning in the fall of 2022, the class times for each level will always stay the same. The class subjects regularly change in order to help our students prepare for upcoming auditions at Shine. The classes will always be exciting topics within Musical Theatre Performance.

Yes and No. Our program is a subscription based model. Students pay one low monthly price for access to unlimited classes throughout the week. You may choose to only attend one class if you prefer.

The program is structured for individualized instruction in order to cater to the student's skill level. In 2022, the art of Musical Theatre requires a triple threat: a performer who is holistically strong in singing, acting, and dance. Our program has delivered amazing results in helping students become equally strong in all three areas.

Students are evaluated weekly by our teaching staff. When a student is showing advanced skills throughout every discipline (singing, acting, dance, etc), they are promoted. Students can only be promoted to higher levels if they attend classes in every discipline.

The Monday Audition Masterclass is the Academy-wide weekly class and the most important class for the student's success. All promotions are announced and celebrated in this class.
