SHINE RECRUITS DANIELLA PAINTON AS DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION, FURTHERING THE MISSION OF ENRICHING NORTH TEXAS FAMILIES THROUGH PERFORMING ARTS EDUCATION

Plano, TX – Shine, a leading children’s theatre with a vision to provide every child opportunities in the performing arts, proudly announces the appointment of Daniella Painton as the new Director of Education. With a commitment to family-friendly theater in a faith-based environment, Shine is dedicated to enriching the lives of North Texas families through exceptional performing arts education. With an impressive background as a trained singer and actress in Los Angeles and New York, Daniella brings a wealth of experience and passion for teaching the craft of singing and performing to students at Shine.


Daniella Painton is a singer and actress with extensive training from Los Angeles and New York. She completed her BA in Theater Performance at Azusa Pacific University, where she actively participated in various prestigious choirs and the Drama Ministry Team. In addition to her four-year degree, Daniella honed her craft through the two-year Acting Conservatory Program at the Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts in Santa Maria, CA. Her rigorous training included extensive study in Shakespeare, Checkov, Stanislavski, Voice and Speech, Dance, and Vocal Production, further enriching her versatile skill set.


Throughout her career, Daniella has performed in numerous regional theaters in Los Angeles and the East Coast. During her time in New York City, she further honed her skills at The Growing Studio, where she trained with esteemed casting teams from Hamilton, Wicked, Les Misérables, and many renowned casting directors. 


Founded in 2015 by Claire McNeill, Shine was established with the mission of enriching the lives of North Texas families through excellent performing arts education. Claire envisioned a safe haven for youth in Plano, TX, where creativity, faith, and community intersected. Since its humble beginnings, Shine has grown beyond expectations, becoming a beacon of artistic expression and personal growth for students from all backgrounds.

As Director of Education, Daniella Painton will oversee Shine’s training programs, including The Academy, private lessons, audition workshops, Broadway workshops, and the beloved summer camp, Musical Madness.
